	MONOFILAMENT POLIGLECAPRONE 25 Suture UNDYED - The ideal synthetic absorbable suture known for its predictable absorption and high tensile strength.
	Characteristics and Benefits:
	Tensile Strength: 50% up to 14 days which assures tissue support during the critical wound healing period & helps safe closure   Absorption: Reylon Mono does not have collagen proteins, pyrogenous agents and its absorption is through hydrolysis, thus providing Minimal Tissue Reaction. Absorption takes place through "progressive hydrolytic action" complete in 60-90 days.   Handling: Excellent comfort while handling (smooth passage through tissue) and enhances firm and safe knotting.   Indications / Applications: It is indicated in all surgical procedures that absorbable sutures are recommended. These include Obstetrics & Gynaecological Surgery, Ophthalmic Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and General Closure. Sizes 1-0 to 4-0 with various needle combinations are available.
	RELYON MONO (Poliglecaprone 25) is a monofilament, synthetic, absorbable suture. A copolymer of 75% glycolide and 25% caprolactone, RELYON MONO is available in natural undyed golden colour.
	Outstanding Pliability: Supple and compliant, it is virtually memory free when dispensed.   Tissue Glide: An exceptionally smooth surface ensures that Relyon mono gently glides through tissue with minimum effort.   Compatible with tissue: RELYON MONO is characterised by a high initial tensile strength which is double that of chromic catgut when placed in tissue.   Wound Support - Relyon Mono: At 14 days, approximately 50% of the tensile strength remains, with wound support continuing up to 28 days.
