	RELYONGUT - (CATGUT PLAIN)
	Natural absorbable and the oldest suture material known, Relyongut is made from the submucosal layer of healthy sheep intestine. The casings are split into ribbons that are mechanically and chemically cleaned to get collagen pure ribbons. Ribbons thus obtained are twisted to get high tensile strength suture material.
	Characteristics and Benefits:
	Monofilament Finish: Relyongut strands are precision polished to get a monofilament finish & uniform diameter, ensuring smooth passage through the tissue & secure knotting.   Tissue Reaction: Moderate and comparatively lesser than Chromic gut.   Indication/Application: Especially in fast regeneration tissues - General Closures, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Surgery, Ophthalmic Surgery, Urology, Microsurgery etc.
